On August 28th, 2018, Rong Viet Securities officially launched the Derivatives Service after being granted a derivatives trading member status by the Ha Noi Stock Exchange (HNX) via Decision No. 537/QĐ-SGDHN dated August 21st, 2018 and settlement member status by the Vietnam Securities Depository Center (VSD) via Document No. 10/GCNTVBT dated August 27th, 2018.

Although the Vietnam Derivatives market has been around for less than 01 year, thanks to the active participation of investors, the liquidity has been increasing at a very fast pace, making it a highly potential market for investors. By joining in the Derivatives market, Rong Viet is committed to providing more services and investment channels for its clients.

In order to participate in the Derivatives market, Rong Viet had to meet many criteria in terms of financials, risk management system, and human resources (both management and investment advisors to clients). In addition, Rong Viet has also upgraded the information technology infrastructure and the Derivatives Order Management System (OMS) from the vendor in Hong Kong. Furthermore, Rong Viet’s online trading platforms (iDragon, tabDragon, goDragon) will provide clients with all necessary tools on all devices that can access the Internet in order for clients to conveniently and effectively trade through Rong Viet anywhere, anytime.
