Specifically, practical constructions sponsored by Viet Dragon such as toilets, drilling wells, clean water pumps were completed and put into use at schools. Also, nearly 500 sets of textbooks were delivered to schools and presented to students by their teachers before the new school year. Additionally, many more gifts such as computers, backpacks, studying utilities will continue to be delivered to students when inter-provincial transportation is allowed.

Despite the difficulties of the pandemic, Viet Dragon’s annual program was able to be carried out thanks to the help of the Company’s Board of Management and many staff as well as the sponsors with the total number of donations was VND 306,050,000. It is the spirit of mutual affection, always supporting and sharing with the community that has helped Viet Dragon to “accompany to school” with Xtieng ethnic students, creating better learning conditions for them, especially during this difficult time of the pandemic.

During the implementation of the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien - Principal of Binh Giai primary school shared: “Most of the students here have difficult circumstances. On the day the school presented books on behalf of the Company, a parent of 3 students receiving 3 sets of new books had cried out of happiness. Through this, we would like to thank and appreciate the kindness of the Company for sharing love to the students of the school, especially during difficult times due to the epidemic."

Mr. Vu Giap Lich - Vice Principal of Hoang Dieu primary school also thanked Viet Dragon and added: "Up to 80% of students at our school are children of Xtieng ethnic people, living in very difficult families. During the time of social distancing, due to the lack of smartphones and wifi for online learning, our teachers had to give students learning cards and guide them to study at home. Thanks to the Company for providing the children with many books to help teachers educate students better.”

This year’s “Accompanying to School - Realizing Dreams" program also marks the 10-year journey that Viet Dragon has been continuously sharing the development achievements to the community and society. During the last 10 years, the program has been impressing with many scholarships and useful constructions for students in difficult areas in Dak Lak, Binh Thuan, Lam Dong, Bac Lieu, and Ben Tre provinces... to help poor and disadvantaged students have more motivation to go to school.
