On September 7, 2024, RongViet Securities successfully launched a tree-planting ceremony in Phan Thiet City (Binh Thuan Province). This was the first activity under the annual “RongViet – For a Greener Vietnam” program, which supports RongViet’s sustainable development goals while contributing to the Government’s “One Billion Trees Initiative.”

Initiated in 2024, “RongViet – For a Greener Vietnam” aims to help create green spaces across the country while promoting environmental awareness, community responsibility, and sustainable development. The program also serves as RongViet’s contribution to the Government’s “One Billion Trees Initiative for the 2021–2025 period.”

Guided by its ESG-oriented sustainable development strategy (Environmental – Social – Governance), RongViet has, over the past 15 years, consistently implemented a variety of community-focused programs. These include “Accompanying Students to School – Nurturing Dreams,” which supports the construction and renovation of classrooms and restrooms, installation of clean water filtration systems, donation of desks, computers, school supplies, and scholarships for primary schools and students in remote areas; as well as the annual “Sharing Love” program during the Lunar New Year, which provides gifts to underprivileged families.

“RongViet – For a Greener Vietnam” will continue its journey of expanding green spaces across provinces and cities nationwide

Earlier in 2024, RongViet’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders approved the allocation of 0.75% of after-tax profit (equivalent to nearly VND 2.5 billion) to the Company’s Charity Fund, with plans to increase the allocation to 1% in the following year. This Charity Fund will provide additional resources to support community and charitable initiatives, complementing contributions from the Trade Union and employees. The decision demonstrates RongViet’s strong commitment to continuing its efforts in promoting and supporting activities that benefit communities and society.
